These terms cover your use of constructioncharlottenc.com and of the phone line (980) 441-1295. Both are run by Construction Charlotte NC, a free referral service operated by Momentum Property Partners LLC ("we", "us"). By using the site or sending a request, you agree to these terms.
We connect homeowners with independent local contractors. We are not a contractor. We do not perform, bid on, manage or supervise construction work, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.
We cannot promise that a contractor will contact you, take your project, or meet any price or schedule. Any contract, price, schedule and work is between you and the contractor.
Pros we refer may pay us a referral fee. Our service is free to homeowners.
You decide whether to hire anyone. Before you sign or pay a deposit, check the contractor's license at nclbgc.org, ask for proof of insurance, get a written contract, and confirm who will pull the permits. We do not inspect or supervise any contractor's work, and we are not responsible for it.
The site gives general information, not legal, engineering or building-code advice. Permit and license rules change, so confirm them with Mecklenburg County Code Enforcement, your town's zoning office or the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors. The site is provided "as is", without promises of any kind.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, the phone line, or any work done by a contractor you met through us.
North Carolina law governs these terms. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top of this page.
